It took a little while to get into this book‚ but my patience was rewarded. A fascinating story‚ full of mystery and intrigue in the English Court and amongst the Religious Leaders of Geoffrey Chaucer's England. Chaucer disappears from the records in 1400 and facts relating to Chaucer and his work and life are sketched together‚ although after 600 years it's a difficult task‚ which leads you on to more questions which remain unanswered. Who Murdered Chaucer? Who knows! An interesting read.
