Sugo Mediterranean Restaurant
91 Regent Street
10 November 2011
As visitor from Australia, I visited Sugo Restaurant in Kingswood four times during my stay and had first class meals everytime, I noticed how accomodating and pleasant the staff were, nothing too much trouble for them. I watched them as people just dropped in without a booking and they couldn't do enough for them. The meals that I had were obviously made from the best fresh ingredients and the cost were so reasonable. Top marks to the Chefs, I only wish you were over here in Australia as the meals that I have had since arriving back home in Hotels haven't been up to the mark. Congratulations on a well run restaurant, I hope to get back there one day.

SUGO is amazing. It is so good to have at last found a local restaurant that clearly serves freshly prepared and cooked food. There is so much choice and the prices are reasonable. The Kleftico is actually a great favourite in our family. Having tried all the local Italian/Mediterranean restaurants SUGO definitely has our vote! The lunchtime menu has lots of choices as does the A La Carte (which is available lunchtime as well). Keep up the good work SUGO, great food, great staff, lovely decor.

We re-visited Sugo's as we had such a nice experience last time, but I must say I was rather disappointed this time around. The waiter was absolutely lovely, really friendly and did not make us feel rushed at all but the food was just not up to scratch. I had the kleftiko, which was rather tasteless and not cheap either. Think we'll go to La Passione next time!!

Went for the first time as I am a regular customer at the restaurant, La Passion, up the road, I was curious to try it and will not be going back. Although the atmosphere was nice and the staff were friendly the food was very poor, my dish came out cold and lacked flavour, the dish was also very expensive for a small portion and I felt it was not worth the money.

Went to Sugo's for the first time, it will not be the last! Lovely atmosphere, we didn't feel rushed by the waiters, and the food wasn't bad either! The food is Italian/Mediterranean, with a good selection of dishes to choose from including 3 meze dishes for £10, which is a nice chance to try a bit of everything. Other choices on the menu are a little more expensive than another Italian nearby in Kingswood, but overall our Sugo experience was good. 4 out of 5!
