Book, Fiction, spiritual
17 April 2008
This is the story of a Spanish shepherd boy who starts to follow omens to lead him to his destiny. This takes him first to morocco and then by land to the pyramids in Egypt. Along the way he has several adventures‚ but the real point of the book is to convey Coelho's spiritual outlook on life. It was this that I found most uncomfortable‚ as it was very wishy-washy and didn't do anything for me. I had high expectations of this book‚ but didn't enjoy it‚ and wouldn't recommend it to anyone.
