Horts was once a hugely popular Bar in Bristol‚ it was a rare pub in the centre of Bristol opening until 1am (before 24 hour licensing) and catering for people of all ages‚ it was (and still is to an extent) a place you can take your parents to.
This all changed a few years ago when the pub went "foodie"‚ the website states it is fully restored and the menu offers the very best in quality‚ neither statement is true‚ if you want food go elsewhere‚ and if you want a smart bar go elsewhere‚ if however you want a nice pub/bar that is not full of teenagers or students then it is perfect‚ a hideaway of sorts away from the madness that has become Bristols city centre.
It looks like Horts is back on the up again‚ hopefully they will continue the trend.
