The Eyes of Darkness
21 August 2008
This was an enjoyable enough story about a mother who lost her child in a road accident‚ then found strange things happening around her indicating that her son was actually alive. The story follows the mother as she tries to work out what happend and whether her son is still alive or whether she is having an cruel trick played on her. At one point I thought I would have to put the book down as it looked as if it was descending into a silly poltergeist tale‚ but luckily I persevered and was rewarded with something quite different to what I expected. The book is an easy read‚ quite dated at times‚ but well paced.
